Beginning Running Clinic Information
Each clinic lasts about 30 minutes. Participants of Beginning Running, 5k and 10k Training meet
together for the same clinic before splitting into groups for their training run (arrive at each clinic
already dressed to run). Questions are always encouraged. Your program booklet will include a brief
outline of each topic, and some clinics will also feature additional handouts.
Clinic topics are:
- Overview & Goals (KickOff Clinic)
- Shoes & Running Gear
- Stretching
- Core Strengthening
- Running Form
- Safety Issues
- Nutrition
- Race Day & Beyond
Sessions generally last from 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
