North Branch Running Path
Cook County Forest Preserve
Chicago, Niles, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northfield


All markers are painted in orange on the asphalt bike/running path.


START:  Corner of Devon and Caldwell, heading northwest.

Mile 1:		As you exit into Caldwell parking lot, 10 feet past
 water pump on right side.

Mile 2:		Exiting parking area on a slight downhill adjacent to 
		Chicago River.  This is the first time you'll see the river.

Mile 3:		100 yards north of Howard St.

Mile 4:		800 yards past the top of the Oakton St. bypass.

Mile 5:		Over the Chicago River bridge on Dempster on the corner
		of Dempster and Lehigh St.

Mile 6:		100 yards north of Beckwith Rd.

Mile 7:		60 yards north of Golf Rd.

Mile 8:		30 fee south of picnic area entrance, 100 yards south 
		of Glenview Rd.

Mile 9:		On the very top of the Lake Avenue overpass.

Mile 10:	Stay to the right when you come to the fork in the path.  Ten
		mile marker just over railroad tracks.  You see New Trier
		High School at this point.
